A name, phone number, or address entered in a search box is sent to the outside provider that supplies those results. Wall Residents Directory does not keep its own copy of those searches. A message sent to us contains the details in that message and is used to respond.
Automatic Technical Data
Like most hosted services, the host records routine log information such as IP address, browser type, pages requested, and timestamps. We use aggregate patterns to maintain the service and understand which reference pages are useful. Cookies or similar tools can support basic analytics and, when used, advertising measurement.
How Limited Data Is Used
Technical information supports operation, troubleshooting, traffic measurement, and page improvements. We do not sell a list of visitors or create individual visitor profiles.
Links to Other Websites
We link out to county and state records portals, library collections, archives, and third-party search tools. Their privacy policies, not ours, govern what you submit there. That is especially true of the sponsored search results, which a third-party company provides.
Who Might See Your Data
The service providers that host and support the site process server logs for us. Analytics and advertising partners may receive the automatic data described above. We disclose data when a valid legal process requires it, and not otherwise.
How We Protect Your Data
The site runs over an encrypted connection and logs are kept only as long as the purposes above need them. There are no accounts here, so no password or profile of yours exists on this site to be exposed.
Users Under 18
The site is meant for adults and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18; if you believe a minor has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Your Privacy Choices
Depending on location, visitors may have rights to seek access, correction, or deletion of personal data a service holds. New Jersey's Data Privacy Act is codified at N.J.S.A. 56:8-166.4 et seq.; the research available for Wall describes the law's public-information exception and opt-out framework, not a municipal-record removal mechanism. Because this service keeps very little, a request normally concerns the contact mailbox or logs. Use the Contact page. Records held by Wall, Monmouth County, or New Jersey custodians must be addressed to the applicable office.
